Raised By Latinos At The El Mocambo

Watch the whole night free on Wehpa TV. Every set, the intros and backstage interviews from the Raised by Latinos party at the El Mocambo are on the Wehpa channel on Roku, free in the USA and Canada. Search WEHPA on your Roku, or see how to watch.

On November 27th, 2021, Wehpa presented the Raised by Latinos party at The Historic El Mocambo. The night featured local Latino artists. Raised by Latinos is a Toronto Streetwear movement Co-founded by Victor Henry Ramirez and Evelyn Lopez. Their mission is to increase Latino representation worldwide and to connect with conscious minded and inclusive people.

The night kicked off with up-and-coming artist Markus Azeriah. Shortly after, Altur Santos took the stage, followed by Kadel, Looch Bodega, and the featured artist La Firma Santana. The party continued with Dj Grouch, Dj Casilimas and Dj Easy El Dee.

It was a historical moment for the Latino Community in Toronto and would not have been possible without Michael Wekerle, who hosted Wehpa and Raised by Latinos at the El Mocambo.

We hope this to be the beginning of Wehpa and RBL events at the El Mocambo, a place where diverse music culture such as Latin Trap, Latin Urban, Hip Hop, Rap, Reggaeton, (and more) that is emerging from Toronto can be showcased.
