Grey is a film written and produced by Ty Lewis with direction and editing done by Xavier King. These two award winning filmmakers are the tandem behind Loose Change Productions Inc.
The Director King has a strong and credible presence in the world of music videos receiving critical acclaim for his work on “The Last Black Man” video. King wanted to increase the scope of his talents by tackling film, enter Ty Lewis.
Ty Lewis is an actor and writer who has appeared in national commercials, Super Bowl commercials and has made an appearance on the show “9-1-1”. His concept for a film that would resonate with the feeling that seemingly all of Black America was feeling at the time. He saw the work of King and wanted him on board to bring his vision to life. After one conversation, Ty understood the talent and creative genius he and King could make. The collaboration was a success and they made “Grey”.
With over Twenty festivals all over the world and winning several awards including best supporting actor by Ty Lewis, best lighting & editing by Xavier King. This film still holds up and carries a visceral response whenever it is viewed. Critics have noted that Ty Lewis & Xavier King are on the verge of putting the industry on notice.
